Year-Round Pest Control for Every Corner of Your Property
Your home and yard face distinct pest pressures through each season, from summer mosquitoes and stinging insects to fall rodents seeking warmth before winter arrives. Pest Authority of Grand Rapids, MI delivers year-round pest control services for homes and businesses throughout the West Michigan area, with a 100% satisfaction guarantee behind every scheduled visit.
A full property walk-through identifies your home's specific entry points, active infestation sites, and conditions that draw pests inside, and the treatment plan we build from those findings targets active problems before ongoing coverage begins. Barrier 360 then establishes the protective perimeter around your property that stops ants, cockroaches, spiders, and other invaders before they reach your foundation, windows, and entry points.
Grand Rapids's cold winters push rodents and cockroaches indoors each fall, while warmer months drive elevated mosquito, tick, and stinging insect activity across yards throughout the region. We are locally owned and operated, serving homes and businesses throughout the area, with trained technicians who return on schedule to maintain your coverage through every seasonal pest shift.

Understanding Pest Season in West Michigan
Grand Rapids sits in a Great Lakes climate where cold winters drive rodents, cockroaches, and overwintering insects toward heated homes each fall, then an intense spring-through-fall season brings carpenter ants, mosquitoes, and stinging insects across neighborhoods bordering wooded corridors and the Grand River watershed. Tick populations in West Michigan's suburban woodland edges present documented health risks, including Lyme disease according to the CDC, while rodent infestations damage wiring and insulation before most homeowners recognize the extent of the problem.
Unlike pest control companies that respond only after activity surfaces indoors, a professional exterminator on a recurring schedule addresses the full seasonal pest cycle before colonies establish inside your home. Consistent treatment is the most effective response to a pest calendar that shifts sharply from one season to the next.

Ants: Barrier 360 prevents interior infestation of most ants. 80% of all pests enter from the exterior of your home. Fire ants and carpenter ants will require custom service. Call us for more details.
Termites: Termite control and elimination require an inspection and assessment by our technician. The process and protocol for termites depends on the extent of your infestation and damage. Call us for more details.
Fleas: Fleas can present a challenge, and a complete inspection of the interior of your home and adjacent property is required. Call us for more details.
Cockroaches: We can help you take back your property from cockroaches. Our Barrier 360 treatment around the outside of your home can prevent cockroaches from entering in the first place. In certain situations, a complete inspection of the interior of your home may be necessary.
Rodents: Our rodent protocol varies depending on the degree of infestation and type of rodent. An extensive inspection and evaluation must be performed both in the interior and exterior of your home
Bees (carpenter): An exterior inspection and evaluation of the exterior of your home or property is critical to determine the extent of an infestation. We can then provide the appropriate service to eradicate the Carpenter bee infestation.
Wasps and hornets: We can remove wasps and hornets from outside your home. And if they do make it inside, just give us a call and we will perform additional treatments at no extra cost.
Spiders: Our Barrier 360 treatment will protect your home from most types of spiders, but if they do get in, we will perform an interior treatment at no extra cost.
Bed bugs: We will perform a full inspection and assessment of your bed bug infestation to design a treatment and prevention plan.
Our exclusive Barrier 360 treatment is applied around the perimeter of your home, to prevent pests from getting in. Occasionally, as with bed bugs, rodents, and some other pests, we’ll need to work inside your home as well. Barrier 360 is an exterior treatment that guards against 11 pests from entering your home. If they get in, we will come in and treat them according to our service protocols.
